The Great Lakes Loons were unable to keep up with the Kane County Cougars on Sunday, who won 7-3 and handed the Loons only their sixth loss of the second-half.
The Great Lakes Loons, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Dodgers, announce the promotion of flame-throwing right-handed pitcher Rubby de la Rosa from the Loons to Double-A Chattanooga. In his place, the Loons have added left-hander Ryan Christenson.
