Great Lakes Loons
The Great Lakes Loons are a Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League.  The team plays its home games at Dow Diamond, which has a 5,200 seating capacity, 12 luxury suites, two picnic areas, two fireplaces and two fire pits.  Dow Diamond has a state-of-the-art production facility that executes all facets of in-game entertainment, including all audio, video and supporting elements that are displayed on out 17'X35' LED video board, four additional LED boards and matrixes and a closed-circuit video broadcast.

ESPN 100.9-FM
Dow Diamond is also the home of ESPN 100.0-FM.  ESPN 100.9-FM (WLUN Pinconning) is a 24-hour all-sports format station owned by the non-profit Michigan Radio Communications.  The station is the flagship home the Great Lakes Loons and carries a weekday lineup of Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Tirico and Van Pelt, and The Huge Show with Bill Simonson.  ESPN 100.9-FM also carries The Saginaw Valley League Game of the Week and Michigan State athletics.

Benefits for the Student:
Interns will work in a fun, exciting, fast-paced environment in which they can learn all aspects of sports management while being significant contributors to our operation.  Each intern will have a focus area, such as marketing & promotions, production, media relations, communications, broadcasting, ticket sales, operations and turf management.  In addition, each intern will be involved in the planning and implementation of cross departmental projects to create the most well rounded experience possible.
